Happy New Year from Forest Industries04.01.2012
Happy New Year everyone! It’s been an exciting year for Forest Industries with the release of Trials/Retrials by shady bard and the long awaited book/CD/DVD from The Winter League, as well as the launch of our new website right here. Meanwhile, shady bard brought the Trials campaign to a close with a bunch of great shows, BBC sessions and a live film (see it here). Their Grey’s Anatomy appearances continued to be broadcast across the world and in the autumn they featured on hit US show The Vampire Diaries. Lawrence also found time to pen a beautiful winter single with 6 Day Riot songstress Tamara Schlesinger. You can hear it here.
So what’s new for 2012? Lawrence is starting work on a new project called Forests which will feature existing colleagues and other friends. New material is expected by February and will coincide with new live dates in the UK and Europe. More news soon…

Shady Bard’s track Torch Song was featured in the closing scene of the Vampire Diaires (Season 3, Episode 5) in the US. The show will air in the UK next month on ITV2. You can download Torch Song from iTunes US and iTunes UK.
